Golden State Donor Services offers a wide variety of charitable giving tools designed to make your giving simple, flexible and effective. Choosing us as your partner in philanthropy means you will help save lives by allowing us to do further community outreach. Specifically, your financial contributions will be used to encourage the public to give life by signing up on the Donate Life California Organ and Tissue Donor Registry. Your charitable gift will also provide you with tax benefits and in some cases, even annual income.

Gifts to GSDS from IRA Accounts

If you are 70 ½ years old and have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you may now make a gift to charity of up to $100,000 from the IRA. This gift will not count as income to you and will count toward your required IRA distribution. The gift must be made to a nonprofit organization and may not be made to private foundations, donor advised funds or split interest gifts. We are ready to work with any donor that would like to make a contribution. A one-time gift here can last forever.
