Team Lead:

Golden State Donor Services (GSDS), the nonprofit organ donation recovery agency covering the greater Sacramento area, seeks an energetic, self-motivated, and critical-thinking Team Lead Transplant Coordinator to join our diverse and innovative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to enjoy a challenging and rewarding career with flexible scheduling, while providing oversight /direction to clinical call staff serving the needs of hospitals, physicians, donors and donor families. As a leader within the agency, you will also help coordinate the development, education, monitoring and training of employees. The successful candidate will possess advanced clinical, critical-thinking, computer and communication skills. Four years of clinical experience within an Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) and certification as a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CTPC) is highly desired, or at least two years critical care experience as an RN, NP or PA in a hospital with an active organ donation program.
Position is required to assume 24hr call responsibility in rotation with other clinical operations staff.
